So my head was spinning when I heard it was annonated with a short biography of Charles F. ,Though that library is now defunct and closed, this is a book I remember so well at that library that when I heard that Kallisti Publishing had printed a new edition of it, I just had to revisit it. More excited than that kid I was in that intellectual candy store called the HollyPark library in Hawthorne, CA. If you've read any Eastern Texts on the subject, this book may open the doors of understanding by providing a western perspective to the same topic. For anybody interested in understanding why the mind is powerful and how to train it, this book is for you. This is brilliantly laid out because your not left asking "what do I do now?". You master each chapter individually before moving forward. The Master Keys simplifies the process by breaking the book down into weekly training chapters. Sometimes the authors or interpreters of the Eastern texts conflict with each other when dealing with methods of acquiring skills through stillness. Yi Quan and Taoism focus on many simple principles one of them being the training of stillness. The Master Keys system provides a great approach to the same topic without the need to understand cultural references or worry the author transalated an idea correctly.
